The Summer Scholars Program is a selective, week-long summer experience for academically talented high school students who will be juniors or seniors the following fall. The curriculum for this program is built for active learners. Students dive deeply into a specific academic topic, participate in lively discussions and hands-on projects, and forge connections with Miami faculty and peers.

A Message from Georgia Tech:

Horizons at Georgia Tech offers mature students a volunteer opportunity to not only provide community service, but to also learn the basics of working with children while having fun. Volunteers will assist Lead Teachers, Group Leaders, and Program Staff with students and other general tasks that keep the program running smoothly and ready for student engagement.

Applications are now open for The Innovation Academy at Furman University, a one-week, high intensity summer experience hosted by The Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This program is designed for ambitious high school students who want more than a traditional camp and are ready to build real skills through real work.

Start Your Career in IT This Summer
FCS IT Summer Internship Program
Now Hiring CTAE Work-Based Learning Students & Rising 11th–12th Grade Students
CTAE and IT Services are looking for motivated students interested in gaining hands-on experience working alongside IT Support Technicians this summer.
Intern Responsibilities:
1. Reimaging devices
2. Cleaning and preparing equipment
3. Supporting device setup for the upcoming school year
Program Details:
1. Pay: $15.00 per hour
2. Dates: May 26 – July 24
3. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
4. Location: Your local zone schools
Requirements:
1. Must be at least 16 years old (by May 26, 2026)
2. Must have reliable transportation
