Instructions
- Pick up a template sheet or use a blank piece of paper to draw your design.
- There are two sizes of buttons: 1 inch and 2.25 inch
- Using the circle punch or a pair of scissors, cut out your design to desired size.
- If you do not want white on the outside of your button, make sure to extend your design past the cut lines.
-
Get a metal shell, plastic sheet, and pin back for the appropriate size button.
-
Make sure that there is only ONE plastic sheet! They’re thin so you might need to rub it between your fingers and see if another one appears
-
-
Pick up the appropriate size button machine:
-
Set the shell in first in the right cylinder of the machine, with the rounded part facing up at the ceiling
-
Put your design on top of the shell, and then add the plastic sheet
-
Spin the cylinder around to be under the button press (large tower thing on the opposite side of the button maker to your first three pieces)
-
Grab the lever and push down, all the pieces should be up inside the tower, which is supposed to happen so don’t worry.
-
The other cylinder should be on the opposite side to the tower, and that is where you put the pin back. Make sure the pin back has the pin part facing up.
-
Spin the cylinders around again until the pin side is under the button press, and pull the lever again.
-
Remove it from the button maker and reset the machine.
