How We Operate
Who is in charge of the Makerspace?
IA students are in charge of monitoring the Makerspace during the school day. These students are either Peer Facilitators or Work Based Learners and get a grade for how they support student needs, keeping the space clean, maintaining inventory, and other tasks as assigned. Some students who work in the Makerspace are volunteers, who have been approved by Ms. Beem.
How can I volunteer in the Makerspace?
In order to volunteer in the Makerspace, you first have to show Ms. Beem that you are responsible in the space, knowledgeable about the activities available, and be in good standing in all your classes. Volunteering in the Makerspace is not for everyone, but if you are interested in, please reach out to Ms. Beem.
If I have an issue in the Makerspace, who should I talk to?
If you have a concern about anything that transpired in the Makerspace, please reach out to Ms. Beem. She expects all students to be respectful, responsible, and kind at all times.
